Story Something Launches Personalized, Interactive Children’s Stories, Putting Kids at the Center of Fairy Tales and Creating Heroes out of Parents

Beta Platform Unveiled at TechCrunch50, Selected from over 1000 Entries

San Francisco, CA (Sept 14, 2009) – Story Something Inc., a mobile and Web platform enabling the creation of interactive children’s stories, launched today at the TechCrunch50 conference in San Francisco. Story Something was chosen as one of the fifty featured companies to launch on stage at this prestigious event. Enabling busy parents to create personalized stories for children built specifically around a child’s name, interests, friends, and age, Story Something will release a private beta at www.storysomething.com.

Parents come to Story Something through any Web-enabled PC or device, enter some basic information about their child (first name, age, interests) and a wonderful, high quality personalized story is crafted for them in seconds. Storiescanbereadandenjoyedonthespotorscheduledfor delivery to parents via email at the time and frequency of their choosing, including just before bedtime. Story Something editors hand pick original stories that are customized for children ages 3-8.. A mobile application for Story Something is currently being tested and will also be available soon.
